- Important Info -

?Eligibility: All JR passes are available exclusively for visitors from abroad who enter Japan under the entry status of ‘Temporary Visitor’. Both of the below two conditions must be met for purchase and use.

1. The pass user must have a passport issued by a country other than Japan.

2. The pass user must enter Japan as a temporary visitor and have ‘Temporary Visitor’ stamped in their passport.

- The status of temporary visitor is established in Japanese immigration law and permits stays in the country of up to 90 days for purposes such as sightseeing. Visitors desiring to enter Japan for sightseeing will receive a stamp saying, ‘Temporary Visitor’ in their passport by the immigration officer.

?Overnight trains usually cover two calendar days. Under such circumstance, the journey will only use one day of the pass. This pass is only available for ordinary seats. Any reservations for express seats will come at an extra cost.

?Redemption Period: It is accessible within three months of the date the order was issued.

?Validity Period: 1, 2, 3, or 4 successive days since the chosen start date.
